Association of International Credentials Evaluators

As a member of AACRAO and NAFSA, AICE’s mission is to work within the guidelines established by AACRAO and NAFSA, and their former joint council: The National Council on the Evaluation of Foreign Educational Credentials, and other professional organizations to develop a coherent and practical understanding of international education equivalents applied to U.S. education.

Objectives

To advocate continuous adherence to the Codes of Ethics established by AACRAO and NAFSA;
 
To work with all members in determining the authenticity of documents and accreditation status of foreign schools;
 
To maintain review procedures among members to promote client satisfaction and good will by resolving any potential misunderstanding;
 
To assist in the improvement of commonality and uniformity of interpretations, recommendations, and procedures of the evaluation process;
 
To encourage members to participate in the expansion of AICE's electronic and hard-copy information center on world education;
 
To enlighten institutions that may be unaware of the factual intensity and evolution of foreign educational credentials evaluation profession;
 
To protect the professional integrity and interests of its members and the international educational community.
